The team that will be on the mat with you from day one.
Gracie Humaita Hemet is led by world champion Professor Omar Salum, a black belt in the Gracie Humaita lineage, alongside a team of instructors who came up through this academy.

Omar Salum had his first contact with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in September 1993. Barely a teenager, he was submitted twice by a 12-year-old orange belt in a backyard challenge. That day he decided to dedicate his life to the art. Today Omar has more than 250 medals and has created nearly 250 black belts around the world, building a champions legacy in Brazil, France and the United States.

Gabriel started wrestling at West Valley Hemet High School in 1995 and has been coaching wrestling in the Hemet and San Jacinto valley for 24 years. He began Jiu-Jitsu in 2004 and received his black belt under Professor Omar in April 2022.

A black belt under Professor Omar Salum, Jona has been training and competing since 2017. He believes great life balance comes through discipline and dedication, and that confidence is built by challenging yourself every day.
